Someday I Want To Be A Missionary
Someday I want
to be a missionary
A messenger with
only love to carry
I won’t let anything
stand in my way
I will be a
missionary some day
I’ve seen them on the streets
as they’re passing by
I’ve watched them pedal
up and down the road
And all the time they
seem to smile,
smile at everyone
And ties flying in the breeze
battle helmets on
A plan of attack by their side
I can see myself riding along
there beside them
Someday, someday
Someday I want
to be a missionary
I know that it’s a
heavy load to carry
But if I let the
gospel light my way
I will be a
missionary some day
I hope when I grow old
I get the chance to go
And serve the way
my brothers have done
And I can wear the helmet
in time and smile at everyone
Someday, someday
Someday I want to
be a missionary
(someday)
I know that we can
never have too many
There’s a feeling in my
heart that makes me say
I will be a missionary someday
Someday
I will be a missionary someday
Someday I want
to be a missionary
I know that we can
never have too many
There’s a feeling in my
heart that makes me say
I will be a missionary someday
Someday I want
to be a missionary
I know that we can
never have too many
There’s a feeling in my
heart that makes me say
I will be a missionary someday
Someday
I will be a missionary some day
